Paula Misiak
Psychological Office on Jutrzenki Street
I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist currently undergoing a 4-year training program at the accredited School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at SWPS University in Warsaw. I completed a 5-year psychology degree at SWPS University in Warsaw.
I work individually with adults, also in English. I provide psychological support to individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. I work within the cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, which focuses on identifying and modifying thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that affect well-being and functioning. I use methods with scientifically proven effectiveness and regularly engage in clinical supervision.
In my work, I place great importance on creating a safe space based on trust and respect. I offer support tailored to individual needs and help develop skills necessary to cope with future difficulties independently.
I continuously expand my knowledge and skills by participating in trainings and conferences. I am a member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (PTTPB), which allows me to stay up to date with current professional standards in this field and benefit from the latest scientific findings.
I have completed trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), working with anxiety disorders and panic attacks, motivational interviewing, and workshops focused on supporting individuals experiencing violence.
What I love about my profession:
That I can accompany others in their process of change and witness how, from session to session, their quality of life improves.
What matters to me in my work:
Continually expanding my knowledge and skills in order to provide the best possible support – by using effective and scientifically proven methods in psychotherapeutic work.
I’m happy to support you:
In difficult moments and in building a better understanding of yourself.
I feel happy when:
I’m surrounded by nature and spending time with my loved ones.
